Year 2025

The end of my undergraduate-level education? or the end of my entire journey in schools.

I'm grateful that I got admitted to the Master of Computer Science program at UIUC.

I will reflect on this year near the end of the year. I probably should do this dynamically throughout the year...

Learning

I have gained more knowledge and experience in operating systems. From the CS341 System Programming and CS421 Operating Systems Design, I have learned concepts like heap memory management, page table, scheduling, synchronization, process isolation, and networking sockets. Hands-on experiences in making my own "malloc" memory allocation and building a small file server and a client program is invaluable in terms of gaining development experience and understanding aspects in one of the most fundamental layers of computer science.
